Together, we will develop a custom plan that is tailored to your unique health goals and needs with education to empower you on your journey to living your best life.
Nutrition Guidance
The nutrients your body needs to run smoothly
Meet your macros
Macros refer to the three necessary macronutrients: proteins, fats, and carbohydrates.
Meeting your macronutrient goals is essential for overall health, and especially critical during perimenopause and the menopause transition for maintaining a healthy gut microbiome, muscle mass, bone density, and brain health.
For a rough estimate of your daily needs, you can use this free macro calculator: https://www.bodycalculate.com/your/macro-calculator#google
Most people should aim for the following daily dietary intake:
- Protein: 90–120 g (women); 120–150 g (men)
- Fiber: 25–35 g
- Water: 32–64 oz
Note: These goals may be adjusted after your personalized consultation that includes an InBody body composition scan.
Try something new to meet your macros
We can help you explore your food options and review a personalized list of foods that meet your specific nutrition needs.
To ensure you are meeting your daily goals, we recommend monitoring your protein, water, and fiber intake this week. Understanding your current consumption will help us identify where small adjustments can be made, which can significantly impact your current and long-term health.
To track your daily intake, consider using an app such as Life Sum, My Fitness Pal, Chronometer, or Lose it.
